Mujahid Hines, M.D.
Mujahid Hines, M.D. is a Board-eligible, comprehensive Ophthalmologist (Eye Surgeon and Physician). He graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology/ Biomedical Science. He received his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma Medical School where he was named the McKinley Williams Scholar of his graduating class. He subsequently completed his medical internship at Unity Health System in Rochester, New York and was recognized as the Intern of the Year. Dr. Hines completed his residency in Ophthalmology at the Flaum Eye Institute of the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York.
He provides a broad range of Eye care services including Comprehensive Eye exams, Cataract surgery, Pterygium surgery, Laser treatments for Glaucoma and Diabetes, and Pediatric eye exams.
Dr. Hines is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and Phi Beta Kappa academic society. He has published numerous scientific articles and is passionate about continuing his interest in patient education and community service.
Dr. Hines resides in Irving, Texas. He enjoys biking, traveling, and cooking with his wife. Even though he was raised in Oklahoma, he is an avid fan of the Texas Rangers and Dallas Cowboys.
