Linda Potts, O.D.
Dr. Linda Potts is a Certified Therapeutic Optometrist with a specialty in Glaucoma. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology at Michigan State University in Lansing, Michigan. From there, she received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston, College of Optometry. Her internship focus was on primary optometric eye care and contact lenses.
A Houstonian by birth, but a Spartan by choice, Dr. Potts has been in Optometry private practice in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex since 2006. She provides a wide range of eye care services including Comprehensive Eye care, Glasses exams and the management of Post-LASIK Post-Cataract surgery and Glaucoma patients. She specializes in Contact lenses exams including Soft lenses, Rigid gas permeable lenses and difficult fits such as Keratoconus.
She is contracted with Medical insurance Plans, as well as several Vision Plans. She is a member of the American Academy of Optometry, the Texas Optometric Association and the Dallas County Optometric Society. Dr. Potts is married to Kevin John Potts, DDS, who she considers to be one of Dallas’ best dentists in the heart of Preston Center. In her spare time, she enjoys Thai kickboxing, wakeboarding, boating, and the culinary arts.
