What is Cataract?

A cataract is a clouding of the natural lens inside the eye. Cataract surgery is performed to remove the cloudy lens and replace it with an artificial lens implant.

We offer many lens implants. The most basic lens implant requires trifocals in most patients. The most advanced lenses correct vision for near and far without bifocals and reading glasses. We offer several payment options for these life-changing procedures. The choice is yours!!!

Finally, the opportunity for freedom from reading glasses and bifocals!

Toric Lens Toric Lens

Really see in the far distance! The Toric Lens corrects astigmatism and cataract.

Crystalens Lens Crystalens Lens

The Crystalens flexes so you can see far and near.

Laser Vision Correction

What is Laser Vision Correction?

Many people wear glasses and contact lenses to correct astigmatism, farsightedness and/or near sightedness. With Laser Vision Correction (LASIK and PRK), a cool-to-the-touch laser can be used to improve your vision. We offer the latest technology at our facilities.

Lasik SMILE Vision Correction

A thin lenticule and small incision are created inside the intact cornea. The lenticule (small contact like disk) is removed correcting vision.

In 10 minutes, say bye to your glasses and contacts with the latest blade-free LASIK procedure.

When the cornea is too thin for LASIK, PRK provides LASIK-like results.

Other Options

Implantable Collamer Lens (ICL) ICL

ICL stands for Implantable Collamer lens. Think of it as an "implantable contact lens". In patients under 50 where LASIK or PRK are not possible, ICLs are a great option. This 5-minute procedure is performed in the OR. The Visian ICL is the next generation of vision correction surgery.

Clear lens Exchange (CLE) Clear lens Exchange (CLE)

Clear Lens Exchange offers another option for visual freedom in patients over age 50. Like Cataract surgery, the natural lens is removed and replaced with a lens implant. Once performed, Cataract surgery is never needed in the future.

Laser Cataract Surgery Laser Cataract Surgery

A femtosecond laser is used to assist your eye surgeon during cataract surgery. The advantages of laser cataract surgery over traditional cataract surgery is the eye surgery is bladeless, precise and reproducible performance, the eye surgeon has enhanced control, and the surgery is customized for your individual eyes.
